Ship DTS off to Mount Isa

Home / News / Ship DTS off to Mount Isa

The past three weeks have gone by so quickly and the Ship Discipleship Training School has completed the rest of it’s lecture phase here in Townsville on board the Pacific Link. On Sunday they boarded not a ship but a van and drove the 900km it takes to get from Townsville to Mount Isa, a mining town in the outback of Australia. During their stay there they will be going into schools, churches and youth groups to present what they did during their time in Papua New Guinea, what the YWAM Medical Ship is doing and how they saw God transforming lives during their 9 weeks in PNG. They are also hoping to get involved in community projects in the town and raise awareness for what the ship will be doing next year as it heads back into PNG.
