Rapping in Missions

Home / Life / Rapping in Missions

Music has always been a big part of my life, even growing up I listened to rap music from big artist like Biggie, Wiz Khalifa, Three 6 Mafia, Big Sean and more. I never realised the impact that my music had on not only my own life, but my city, state, and even my country. Since being at YWAM Townsville, my eyes are more open to how a group of volunteers can make such an impact on a nation like Papua New Guinea – using their God-given gifts and passions.

I looked back at the music I listened to when I was growing up, and saw how it has impacting me; it inspired me to write my own lyrics so that I could influence others. I want my words to bring glory to the good things that people are doing and to help others who are controlled by fear.

Here’s a short clip from one I have been working on lately, I hope you enjoy!
