Looking for a meaningful way to spend your holidays?

Beautiful Townsville, Australia is not only one of tropical Australia’s great destinations, it’s also the home-base for our 100+ volunteers and our Medical Ship that operates in remote areas of Papua New Guinea.

From April – September 2017, we’re calling on tradesmen, mariners and general volunteers to give us a hand as we renovate the YWAM Townsville Campus, and our Medical Ship, the MV YWAM PNG, before she returns to Papua New Guinea.

Come for as little as a week, or for the whole project – and while you’re here, why not head out to the Great Barrier Reef or Magnetic Island? It’s just off our coast! The weather during June – September is the best we experience all year round (average 25°C / 77°F)!

You will have free accommodation onboard our ship or at the campus for up to three months.

Details for each project is outlined below.
